....the "Hollywood diet" (I have to attend the Black United Fund Awards Gala this weekend and I need to fit into one of these OLD bridesmaid dresses cause I am NOT buying another.)
... starting a Spanish refresher course tomorrow
... going completely veg... but is it selfish to deny my youth.
... actually TRYING to lose 45 pounds which would put me at high school weight
... ceasing drinking
... leaving this situation, bundling my youth and making it to Promise Land... wherever that may be.

What is the Hollywood Diet? Is it a fast? If so, as long as you're fasting for a short period of time you should be fine..
As far as going completely veg, do you mean vegan or vegetarian? Most can argue a vegetarian diet is no problem for a child since the dairy is providing both calcium and protein. If going vegan, it just takes a little extra work to get calcium and protein in the diet. As for raw vegan...that's also another story.. I wish you the best of luck on this one. My boyfriend and I continuously argue about whether our child(ren) will be vegan or vegetarian...
Just take the 45 lb weight loss slow. I know we all want fast results but the slower you lose it the more likely it is to stay off. 2-3 lbs of weight loss a week is great.
If it's a negative situation for you and your youth, there's nothing wrong with leaving...
Oh! Have fun at the Black United Fund Awards Gala!!!!!
I was actually joking about the Hollywood Diet... but yes, it is a "fast" of some sort, but not a very good or smart one. You can find the "juice" for it in any Walgreens, CVS or something like it... some absurd amount of money to drink cranberry juice.
I was talkin vegetarian... not vegan. My sun's dad is a chronic meat eater so I just wonder if it would be hard to maintain. He and I have to discuss our dietary guidelines. It's a conversation I been putting off but it's time.
The youth and I are doing JUST FINE now and have been for a few months... lots of updates since this post. Feel free to peruse at your leisure. :)
Albeit late, BUF gala was OFF.THE.CHAIN. I enjoyed Jeffrey Osbourne like I was 50 years old.
